讀者們肯定遇過一啲HR/僱主,見完工嘅時候覺得雙方好投緣好啱傾,有種一見鍾情嘅初戀感覺。認為成件事好Positive,應該都會有2nd Round Interview或是Offer,但係最後幾個星期都冇回音,打電話去問HR,佢哋會拖住Candidate,同佢哋講「需要少少時間去見多幾個,但係其實都係好正面。」呢類說話,叫佢哋比少少耐心等多一陣,點知轉頭就請咗第二個人,以下有少少貼士可以教讀者如何應對呢個情況:
1. “What happens next?” 永遠喺面試最後都問呢個問題。唔好睇小呢句問題,一嚟可以比僱主知道你真係對呢個職位有興趣,又可以知道呢個職位嘅面試流程,等自己心入面有個掌握。如果HR同你講大約兩星期就會有回覆,咁你就可以兩星期之後去做跟進。但係千祈唔好全副心機淨係投住喺一份工作上邊。
2.通常僱主喺面試期間如果問你嘅Expected Salary同通知期,都係佢哋對你有興趣嘅一種表現。如果情況許可,可以問面試官攞佢哋嘅卡片,方便日後做跟進。
3.返到屋企寫封“Thank you Email”,可以用以下格式:
Dear Xxx
Thank you for taking the time to chat with me today.
It was great to find out more about [Company Name], especially [Fact About Company] and because of [Relevant Skill or Experience] I think I’d be a great fit for the team.
Either way, it was great to meet someone who [Personal Fact About Interviewer].
Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help move the process forward.
Look forward to hearing from you.

一封咁簡短嘅Email其實對你有百利而無一害,可以顯出你好Committed,又係一個好有禮貌嘅表現,而且可以喺封Email入邊再問多一次Interview Process。如果你冇僱主嘅Direct Email可以叫獵頭幫你傳出去,又或者手寫一封信寄過去。
4.加LinkedIn。通常HR佢哋都會Accept你個Invitation。可以比多個機會佢哋睇一睇你個LinkedIn Profile。(大前提你有一個幾專業嘅Profile同埋一張相)
5.唔好太Chur,又唔好太怕醜。我哋最怕人煩。試過有人一日打五個電話俾我,問我進度如何,又有客投訴Candidate越過我哋獵頭,一日打幾次電話問佢進度,咁樣真係會嚇親人。可以問,但建議第一個星期可以先發一封Thank You Email,第二個星期先開始打電話問。
